My clients were not looking to go wild and gut renovate, but they did want to make their outdated shower feel less cave-like. Knowing that they didn’t want to tear it all down, we talked about the little changes that could make the space more efficient.

There was this beautiful light that came in from the skylight but the shower felt small and closed off.

The homeowners wanted to deepen the shower and let go of the curtain in favor of a glass enclosure.

We leveled the floor so we could create a deeper shower area. The idea was to create a glass enclosure and give them more space and create an airier feeling. This change meant moving some switches to accommodate the new layout and shifting the drain for the new pan size.

Some of the details were left unfinished in the current space and the homeowners requested that we improve them while we were making changes.

Those little details really can make all the difference! A nicely trimmed out skylight – and it looks like it was always part of the room. A small change – but a big one for the Homeowners.

Since we were opening up the wall we also changed out the fixtures for the jetted tub. This helped the space feel more cohesive and updated without the expense of a full bath remodel.

The expanded shower area made the space feel more open and balanced while while allowing for considerably more elbow room on the interior of the shower. Sometimes a small improvement can make all the difference.

We’re waiting on the glass to be installed and I can’t wait to see the finished photos!
